    I have been told by more than one local that this is THE place for burgers and shakes.  We were in town for work, and decided on this place by word of mouth only.

    WOW. I'm so thankful for the tip. Now the only negative is that parking in this little strip mall on a hill could get a bit tight. And the spots are TINY.  But the food is worth it.

    We were seated immediately. While we skipped the shakes, we each ordered burgers and fries. I loved the Marilyn burger. I added grilled onions and asked for pepper jack cheese instead of what it came with. Juicy, flavorful and a bit messy on a nicely toasted bun. Delicious!  Sodas were fizzy and cold, and refilled quickly...service was with a smile, and the music was rocking!  I will definitely be back the next time I'm around!

    I went here when I was visiting SLO with my friend. We had good food but terrible service. Our waitress put our entire party of 6 at two different booths. She was super rude when taking our orders. She asked while we were ordering if we were doing separate checks or not (which is definitely the wrong time to ask). At the end she messed up the bill anyways. Don't come here if you are looking for a nice atmosphere. If anything just get the food to go.

    I really love this place.  It's suprising I haven't written a review yet.  I love the 50s diner atmosphere from the decor to the menu. The people that work there are always nice especially on my last visit. It's clean, has indoor and outdoor seating. The only draw back is parking.
    The food is delish and very filling. They don't mess around with the burgers that's all I ever order. I almost always get the burger with pineapple- I can't ever remember its name.  I think this a great place.
